Zoned Overtime is a way of paying employees at an enhanced rate when they work between specific hours.
You can set-up zoned overtime within the settings of a specific shift found within the settings, under the 'Shifts & Rosters' tab then 'Shifts'.
Double-click on the specific shift and navigate to the 'Zoned Overtime' tab.
Once created, these rules will have overtime raised on a daily basis based on what is defined.
Using the example above, this rule means that if an employee works this shift, overtime will be raised on a daily basis between the times of 20:00 - 22:00. This overtime will raise as 2x and will come through automatically authorised.
An explanation of each configurable option below:
Start - The start time for when overtime should be applied.
End- The end time when overtime should stop being applied
Overtime Group - The overtime type, taken from a preconfigured list of 'Overtime Groups', set up by the user.
Authorised - Is the Overtime automatically authorised, or will a manager need to authorise the extra hours for payroll.
