In order to sync your PAYmate with the server and resolve issues with lost time, please follow the steps below:
- Restart/power cycle the PAYmate device by unplugging the plugging back the Internet cable in the back of the device
- As the PAYmate will restart, make a note of the IP address (DHCP):
- Open an internet browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Mozilla etc) and type the IP address into the address bar and press ENTER:
- In the new pop-up window, use the following credentials, and hit the Sign in button:
Username: PAYmate
Password: 8608705000
- In case the page will be blank, please hit the refresh button in the browser or F5 button on the keyboard:
- On the clock configuration page, we need to look for the two “Time Synchronisation” drop-down menus. Change each of these to “HTTP Server”:
- When both settings are changed – click Reboot PAYmate on the left-hand panel and then the OK button on the right side:
The device should reboot and the time should be synced.
