There are lots of areas within the Admin Access Tab. This guide will explain what each of the tick boxes in this section will do.

Explanations of all Tick Boxes Within Admin Access Tab:

Live - Ticking the Live tick box will allow the user to view the Live Data screen. The Live Data screen shows real-time information on employees, their activity and cost centre plus their timesheet. This can be found in View -> Live Data.

Calendar - Ticking the Calendar tick box will allow the user to view the Calendar screen. This screen will show individual employee's Monthly/Yearly timetable, including Holidays, Shift Patterns, Absences etc. This is a great place for the user to book holidays/absences for employees.

Attendance - Ticking the attendance tick box will enable the user to access the Attendance Screen. The attendance screen allows you to view all employee's attendance/shifts for the week/month all in one place. This is also a great place for users to book Holidays/Absences/Shifts for employees.

Exceptions - Ticking the exceptions tick box allows the user to view the Managing Exceptions Screen (Manage -> Exceptions). This screen is the best place to manage all exceptions for the employees that this user has access to, this can be things such as clocked in late, clocked out early, already clocked in etc.

Overtime - Ticking the overtime tick box allows the user to view the Manage Overtime Screen (Manage -> Overtime). This screen is the best place to manage all Unauthorised Overtime Hours for the employees that this user has access to.
- Reports - Ticking the reports tick box allows the user to run reports for the employees that the user has access to. There are hundreds of reports, giving the user access to many different Category's of reporting. This section will be found at the top of any screen.
- AdvancedReports - Ticking this will allow the user to run advanced reports. This is similar to normal reports, however, these reports will produce more detailed and unique outputs.

FireReport - Ticking this will allow the user to run fire reports.

Dashboard - Ticking the dashboard tick box allows the user to use the dashboard screen. This screen gives general details about the company and the employees, such as Activities, Cost Centres, Budgets, Top late employees etc.

Lateness - Ticking the lateness tick box allows the user to view the Manage Lateness Screen (Manage -> Lateness). This screen is the best place to manage all lateness exceptions for all employees that the user has access to.

AccessControl - Ticking the Access Control tick box allows the user to view the Access Movements screen. This screen will show all Ins and Outs scanned by employees on access control, allowing you to track employees movement across sites.

WorkRecord - Ticking the Work Record tick box allows users to go into employees working day and rearrange things like start times, end times, overtime etc. This can be done by double clicking into days within Live Data or Attendance Screens, as shown below.
For example, if you were to double click the Monday on this employees Live Data, Monday's work record would open up. This will look like the image below below:
This page shows and allows you to edit things like Start and End times, Overtime, Absences, Exceptions etc. by double clicking into them.

LockRecords - Ticking this will allow the user to lock work records. This could be useful for when a manager wants to stop others from editing these work records. For example, If manager A has viewed and locked a work record using this access, Manager B will then not be able to edit this work record unless they also have access to this tick box. Once ticked, this feature can be found within the work record.

Employees - Ticking this will then allow the user to go into the details of any employee that they have access to across the system. This tick box will also pop up a new tab at the top of the screen whilst editing a user, labelled Employee. This tab will allow you to limit what this user can view within their employees details, such as personal info or payroll info.

FlexitimePeriods - Ticking this will allow the user to view and create flexitime periods for all of their employees who work flexitime. Once ticked, this can be found within the employee details.

Visitors - Ticking this will allow the user to view and create Visitors within the Visitors/Contractors screen (Access -> Visitors/Contractors).

ShiftNotifications - Ticking this allows the user to send in bulk, shift requests to employees. This can be found within Toolbox -> Shift Notifications.
The user can now see available employees for the date required and their hourly rate. Once selected and 'sent' - this emails the employee a request/notification.

BulkEditor - Ticking this allows the user to use the bulk editor, which can be found in Toolbox -> Bulk Editor.

PegBoard - Ticking this allows the user to use the Peg Board feature in Chronicle, which can be found within View -> Pegboard.

CostCentreImport - Ticking this will allow the user to use the Cost Centre Import feature.

CostCentreAdvancedImport - Ticking this will allow the user to use the Cost Centre Advanced Import to bulk import cost centres in the system.

Questions - Ticking this will allow the user to create various question types and questions, that the employees will be able to answer on their phones using the Chronicle Mobile App.

LiveClock - Ticking this will allow the user to clock employees IN and OUT on the Live Data screen.

SensitiveDocuments - Ticking this will allow the user to classify a document as sensitive.

ChangeRequestes- Ticking this will allow the user to receive emails for change requests
(Manage -> Change requests). Change requests are when an employee requests a change to their own profile such as Second Name, Profile Picture, First Name, Phone Number, Email etc.

SelfService - Ticking self service will give the user a new tab at the top of the screen called self service. In this tab, the user can use the system more so like an employee, rather than a manager, by using features such as Clock In, Clock out, view Holidays, request holidays etc.
This tick box is useful for managers that still clock in and out of the system, want to request holidays, view their own roster etc.

HolidaysRequested - Having this ticked will allow the user to view Holidays and Absences requested by the employees they have access to. This would be found in
Manage -> Holidays/Absence. This is the best place for the user to manage all recently requested holidays across different employees efficiently.

SelectRecords - Having this ticked will allow the user to head to HR -> Records.
Chronicle records can help a business track a collection of data relevant HR records.

Announcements - Having announcements ticked will allow the user to send company announcements to employees. With this ticked, this user can send an announcement in the Chronicle via HR -> Announcements page by writing a message and selecting relevant employees.

Workflow - Having workflow ticked will allow the user to view and manage workflows within
HR -> Workflow. Within here, the user will be able to select an employee of choice and upload documents for that employee to complete.

HrDashboard - Having HR Dashboard enabled allows the user to view the HR Dashboard screen (HR -> Dashboard). This screen is similar to the Dashboard screen, however, has some more in depth details about employees, such as employee birthdays, length of service, bradford factor etc.

Incidents - Having this enabled will allow the user to view and manage Incidents (Manage -> Incidents) within the Chronicle system. Incidents can be uploaded via the mobile app by employees.

Settings - Having this enabled will allow the user to view the settings of Chronicle.
However, this user will gain access to the settings menu, but will not have access within them. First you will need to give them this access. You can do this by pressing the settings tab at the top of the screen when editing a user.
This tab will only show once the Settings tick box is ticked.
Within this tab, you will be able to give access to certain areas of Chronicle Settings.
- DisableManageExceptions - Having this ticked will disable managing exceptions for this user. This means that they will still be able to go into work records and view exceptions, however, they will no longer be able to clear/raise them.
What are the "Read Only" tick boxes?
The "Read Only" tick boxes will allow the user to view these screens/features, but will not have access to making any changes within them.
