Tags are essentially another name for departments, teams, organisations, units etc in Chronicle.
Tags let users assign people to multiple departments in Chronicle, this is great for reporting and viewing data when people have multiple roles.
You can order tags into a sequence of importance i.e Management is tag 1 and will appear at the top of the list, right after the All tag.
The first tag should always be an All tag (sequence 0), which should include all employees.

You can create as many tags that is necessary for your business to help you appropriately manage and separate the employees.
An employee can be assigned to multiple tags.
You can run report(s) for a specific tag so that you can easily view all employee that are within that department, unit, team.
For example, if you wanted to be able to run reports on all your managers across 3-4 teams, you could then create a Management tag. Simply assign all managers to that tag and then this way you can then report easily upon them.
