In some instances, you may have an employee that registers their fingerprint successfully however then received the 'Template not found' error message on the machine.
This may be caused by the below:
- The same finger that was enrolled is not being used to clock.
- Pressure when enrolling and clocking differ. Pressing hard on enrolment and then gently can cause the image to blur.
- Temperature of the finger can cause difficulties when clocking
- Presenting the finger at different angles to what was enrolled.
- When enrolling, it is suggested to use a finger that you can comfortably use for clocking consistently.
