Chronicle now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration, giving companies more flexibility and control over how users log on.
There are 3 different login configuration options available for handling login enforcement:
- Chronicle Login Options Only (Default)
- Users continue to login with their Chronicle credentials.
- SSO is not enforced, unless explicitly changed.
- Enforce SSO Only
- All users must login exclusively via SSO.
- Legacy Chronicle credentials are disabled.
- Enforce SSO & Chronicle Logins
- Users can login using either SSO or, their existing Chronicle credentials.
- This provides flexibility during the migration to SSO.
By default, Chronicle is set to 'Chronicle Login Options Only' - If you'd like to enforce SSO within your environment, you'll need to update this setting.
This configuration can only be enabled by the super user of your environment within the 'Company Settings' found within the 'Toolbox' drop-down.
Within the 'Company Settings' menu, you'll find the 'Setup Single Sign On' button near the bottom.
Once this has been set-up, this is enabled company-wide, all users will be required to log-in via the select configuration.
