Tablet / Kiosk Final Setup

Thank you for choosing a tablet for accessing Chronicle, this guide assists with completing the setup with your personal details.

Installing Chronicle Mobile App

Open Google Play Store and create a Google account.

Search for and install 'Chronicle Mobile App'

Select the 3 dots in the top-right and enable 'Auto-Update'.

Once installed return to the Kiosk menu - Select the 3 dots and enter the password (0000).

Select 'App Launcher' then 'Visible Apps' enable 'ChronicleMobileAppV1' whilst here, un-tick 'Google Play Store', do the same within 'Allowed Apps'.

Kiosk Registration

To continue using the kiosk feature the software will need to be registered.

You’ll need to click the orange button which says ‘BUY NOW (LAUNCHER)’

When you go through and purchase the licence, you should receive the key to the e-mail address you input during that process.

From there, you’d need to go to the tablet and you’d need to click the 3 dots in the top-right corner (After minimizing the Chronicle Mobile App) then the ‘Settings’ option.

Enter your PIN (0000).

Scroll down to ‘About’ and there should be an option at the top about adding a licence.

Alternatively, you should be able to click the message that is displayed regarding the licence being required which you’d then enter the key you’ve received. 

Return to the main menu, open 'Chronicle Mobile App' and log-in using your tablet account details
