How to assign a default cost centre on a tablet

This feature will allow you to assign a cost centre to the tablet, which might be useful for reducing the time to clock in as the tablet won't need to access Google Maps to grab the current location.

This setting will be only available to tablet accounts with the 'Allow supervisor employee clock in' settings enabled:

First, we need to make sure the correct settings are chosen on the Company settings tab:

• Go to Toolbox -> Company settings
• The 'Use location services' should be ticked
• The 'Enable Cost Centre selection on mobile Clock In' shouldn't be ticked, as it would override the default cost centre on the tablet

Then open the app, log in to the Chronicle tablet account and go to Settings.

Click on the 'Set Default Cost Centre' button:

Click on the 'Start typing Cost Centre' field and select the cost centre from the drop-down menu:

            

Once the cost centre has been selected, click on the SET COST CENTRE button:
