On the Chronicle Employee App, you'll be given the ability to clock in, start break, end break, change activity, change cost centre & clock out among many other features that assist with tracking your working day.
Below will be guides on how to process these actions in the Chronicle Mobile App.
Clocking IN & OUT
Firstly, once logged in, you'll see the home screen with various options - To start your day, you'll select the 'Clock in' option - This will always be the first action that you do, even before changing cost centre/activity.
With facial verification enabled against your user and selecting the clock in button, you'll be prompted to take a photo of yourself to authorise this action. If this has not been enabled, once selecting the option it will simply process as intended.
This will then process through to your work record within Chronicle.
The same process will apply when you finish your shift, however you'd select the 'Clock out' option instead - This again will require a photo to authorise the action.
Changing Cost Centre & Activity
Once you've clocked in successfully, you may need to change your cost centre or activity. The options are no longer on the home screen directly but found by selecting the orange + button at the bottom of the app.
From that menu, select the appropriate 'Activity' or 'Cost Centre' drop the drop-down menu and select the relevant button to action that change. You will be prompted to authorise this change by taking a photo.
Starting and Ending Break
The starting and ending break process is very similar, once it is time to clock that you're starting your break, simply click the 'Start Break' option, this will require a photo to authorise this action.
When it is time to end your break, the same process applies but this time, selecting 'End Break' instead.
