This feature will allow Chronicle Mobile App users to select a cost centre from a list when there are multiple cost centres nearby.
Without this feature switched on, the system will select the closest cost centre while trying to clock in.
To enable the feature:
- Go to Toolbox -> Company settings
- Tick the Use location services box and the Enable Cost Centre selection on mobile Clock In box and hit the Save button:
- For example, if there are multiple cost centres within a short distance from one another:
- When an employee tries to clock in on the Chronicle Mobile app, it will give a list of the cost centres that are within the range. The closer to the cost centre the higher it will be on the list. They can then select their designated cost centre:
- In the work record, it shows the employees chosen cost centre:
- Please Note: The system will only ask for the cost centre while clocking in not when clocking out or changing activity.
