Chronicle Mobile App gives the employee the ability to clock in/out, manage their attendance, report incidents, request holidays, and receive announcements and payslips from an employer.

CLOCK IN/OUT
This is the default screen employees will see when they login to the app. It allows them to clock in and out, start and end break, change activity, and cost centre, all by simply clicking relevant buttons.
Chronicle Mobile App supports the ability for supervisors to clock in and out members of staff, they are responsible for. The supervisor will be able to select an employee from the list and clock them in/out.
SEND A NOTE
This feature allows an employee to send a note that will be shown in the employee's work record. Currently, you won't receive a notification if an employee sends a note. The employee would need to let you know if they have sent the note.
To see the notes all you have to do is:
- Go to View -> Live data -> Find an employee of interest and open the Work Record on the date the note was sent
- You should be able to see and edit the note in the top left part of the Work Record window:
TIMESHEET
In this menu, an employee will be able to see the weekly timesheet, they will be able to navigate to previous and upcoming weeks. They will be able to see which shift they are on each day and how many hours they have worked.
An employee can set availability on each shift which will be shown in the Chronicle's Attendance screen as a thumbs-up icon.
INCIDENT
An incident is something that has happened in the workplace unexpectedly, which hasn't caused any personal injury, but may or may not have caused damage, and that warrants reporting.
This feature will allow an employee to report, for example, near miss incident.
You see the incident list in Chronicle if you go to Manage -> Incidents.
HOLIDAYS
This menu is divided into 3 sections.
In the Entitlements, an employee can check how many Holiday, Sick, and Absence days they have booked/remaining.
Holiday Request allows the employee to book the Holiday/Sick/Absence, select the duration and the desired date. The request will be sent to the in-line manager, who can approve or decline it.
This can be seen in the third tab - Holiday Status, all the holiday requests and statuses will be shown here.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
A company announcement is used to share important information with employees.
You can send an announcement in the Chronicle via HR -> Announcements page by writing a message and selecting relevant employees.
Once sent, this should then be visible under the Announcements tab in the mobile app.
UPLOAD
This menu allows employees to upload certain documents such as:
- Sick Note
- Certificate
- License
- Skill
- Other
Uploaded records will be shown in the employee Documents tab against their profile.
PAYSLIPS
In this menu, an employee will be able to see the payslips sent by an employer.

SETTINGS
In the Setting, you have the ability to change your password if needed.
