Within the Chronicle mobile app there is a feature to clock-in without internet connection, this will store the data and run continuous checks until connection is available and send the data through to the Chronicle system. Checks happen hourly, if there is not a check due the data can also be manually sent to the system.
*This does require connection to have logged in*
If you are logged into the Chronicle Mobile App and have lost connection, you can still clock as you normally would. Upon your clock-in attempt, you will receive a message as seen below.
Selecting 'YES' will prompt you to take a photo providing this is enabled within the user settings.
The APP will then store this data ready to be sent upon the next check for connection.
To manually send the data to the Chronicle system, you'd need to open the menu using the 3 horizontal bars in the top-right, then selecting 'Offline Data'.
Upon selecting this, you'll see the information of your most recent clocking data ready to be sent.
You'd just need to select the button at the bottom of the screen to process this.
This data will then appear within the Chronicle system on the employees' work record under 'Real Clockings'.
You'll be able to check the location of that clock-in. If the silhouette appears, this means the APP was not able to match the photo taken to what is stored against their user - Clicking on this will allow you to see the photo that was taken on that clock-in.
