Within the 'Toolbox' drop you'll find 'Create Flexitime Periods'. This is where you'll create monthly periods for the flexi-balance to be tracked.
When accessing this screen, you'll have a few filters to manage before creating any periods.
Filters
When accessing the bulk editor, above the table of employees you'll have some filters to use to make bulk updating easier.
Tag
- This will allow you to filter the table of employees down to a specific tag which you have access to.
Start / End Date
- The 'Start/End' date range will be the definition of what periods are created, for example you'd set this as 01/01/2026 - 31/12/2026 for a whole year.
Using the Create Flexitime Periods Feature
With the appropriate filters and date range set, you can look to begin creating some flexitime periods for the employee(s).
Please note: With the date-range, if an employee has started mid-way through the month, you'd set your start date as their join date so that when the period is created and the contracted hours are calculated, it does not calculate a whole months' worth, but from their join date instead.
To create the period(s), begin by selecting the tick-box beside the employee name(s). This will bring up a 'Create' button, selecting this will create the periods against the date range defined.
In this example, the employee has started clocking on 08/06/2026 which I have defined as my 'Start Date' the end date is then set as the final day of the month, one year later (or longer).
With the flexitime periods successfully created, you can double-check this by accessing the employee record for that employee, under the 'Flexitime' tab.
