Overtime groups within Chronicle are the various rates that overtime can raise as - You'd use overtime groups when creating daily overtime rules, weekly overtime rules and shift overtime rules.
These are found within the 'Settings' using the option in the bottom-left of Chronicle. Then, navigating to 'Overtime Rules' then 'Overtime Groups'.
Creating Overtime Groups
To begin creating overtime groups within this screen, select the orange 'Create Overtime Group' option.
Name - This is what you'd like the rate to be called.
Code - This is an optional box to use a code as a reference.
Factor - This is the percentage value over the flat rate.
Uplift - This is a flat value in £ above flat rate that the employee will receive.
Payroll Category - This is the column it will display under in reports, for example 'Payroll Category - 3' will display under 'OT3' on reports.
With the overtime group information detailed, click 'Save' to complete the process - From there, you can begin applying this to the appropriate areas whether this is a daily overtime rule, weekly overtime rule or against a shift within fixed/zoned overtime.
