Using the 'Manage' drop-down, you'll be able to choose the 'Exceptions' option to view and manage exceptions in bulk. This screen is also accessible via the dashboard by selecting the 'View details' on the orange exceptions box.
On this screen, you'll be able to use the filters on the left-hand side to filter down the exceptions to a specific tag, date or exception type.
It'll automatically default to showing exceptions from the 'All' tag, ranging across the last month for all exception types.
Within the main table of exceptions, you'll be able to see:
- Employee Name.
- Date/Time of the raised exception.
- Date of shift that has the raised exception.
- Start & End time of the shift.
- The raised exception type.
- Various actions that can be selected to fix the work record.
You'll be able to double-click on any line within the table to open the work record for that day to gather further information as to why that exception may have raised.

Using the example below, after double-clicking on the work record or checking the exception type that was raised, we can see that the employee has forgotten to clock-in:
To resolve this work record, we can use the action buttons to quickly make the appropriate amendments - You can use the suggested actions on the line, or above the table of exceptions.
Using the suggested actions, we can either:
-
Create Default Shift - This will create a default day within the work record which should input the start and end time based off of the shift settings.
-
Create Absence - This will bring up the 'Create Absence' interface which will allow you to input an absence in the event the employee was sick.
-
Clear the Exception - Selecting this will simply clear the exception from the work record, without any additional changes being made.
