On 'Manage' > 'Exceptions' you'll be able to clear exceptions that have raised against work records in bulk, as well as use the action buttons to fix the work records before clearing that exception.
You'll see multiple buttons across the top which allow you to action various processes against the work record in order to fix it to which you can then clear the exception from being raised.
These buttons are as follows:
Refresh - This refreshes the exceptions table. After making amendments you can refresh to ensure the record is removed from the list or to perform the next action.
Create Default Shift - This is the same functionality as the 'Create Default Shift' within the work record, selecting this will input the shift code along with the appropriate start/end time based on the shifts' settings. This would be used if the employee was due to work their rostered shift.
Create Shift - This can be used to input the shift code against the work record and can also auto-generate the work record based off of the selected shift. This would be used if the employee is due to work a shift that they're not currently rostered.
Add End Time - In the event an employee clocks in, but forgets to clock out, you can select this option to manually input a defined 'End time' to the work record.
Create Absence - Using this button will allow you to input an absence onto that work record in the event the employee was on holiday, sick or absent.
Delete Absence - If an absence is recorded on the date the exception was raised that is no longer required, you can use this button to remove any absences from that work record.
Disable Lateness - Selecting this will disable the 'Show Late' option within the work record.
Clear - Selecting this will clear the exception from the work record.
Clearing multiple exceptions & Processing an action across multiple records.
The action buttons can also be processed across multiple entries by selecting multiple lines within the table similar to clearing multiple exceptions at once. Only one action can be processed across multiple work records at a time.
