Within Chronicle, you can upload documents to employees to store them against their employee record. As a part of that functionality, a folder structure can be created to ensure documents are within the appropriate folders and tidy within the documents area of their record.
For more information regarding the 'Documents' tab within an employee record, please see this guide: V2 - Employee Record – Chronicle Computing (Navigate to the 'Documents' heading).
To access your folders within Chronicle, access the 'Settings' option within the bottom left of the home screen menu items, then 'HR Records' and finally 'Folders'.
Creating a Folder Structure
To begin creating a folder, select the orange 'Add Folder' button.
Name - This is what you will be naming the main folder of the structure.
Once named, select the 'Save' button to finish. Create as many folders as necessary using this method.
With the main folders created, you can look to then expand on this structure by selecting the green + against the folder.
This will bring up a similar menu as before, allowing you to create additional folders within the main folder. You can see the folders within the main folder by selecting the downwards arrow icon to the left of the main folder name.
With your folder structure set-up, you can then view how this will appear against an employee record by accessing any employee record available and navigating to the 'Documents' tab.
To understand how you can upload documents into this folder structure, please see this guide: {Placeholder Link}
