You can remove a shift from your Chronicle environment, this would be done by accessing the settings via the cog in the top right and navigating to 'Shifts & Rosters' then 'Shifts'.
Locate the shift you're looking to remove and tick the box to the left of the name.
From there, select the red bin icon to remove the shift.
You may find that the shift does not get deleted. If this is the case, double-click on the shift and select the 'Breaks' tab. If there is a break within this shift, it would need to be deleted first using the same process as before, selecting the tick box and then the red bin icon.
Re-attempt the initial steps to delete the shift.
If the shift still does not delete, it means that it is linked elsewhere within your environment. This could mean that it is assigned to a roster or, it has been worked before by an employee.
If it is solely assigned to a roster, you would just need to remove it from that roster. If the shift has been worked by an employee previously, it would not be able to be deleted.
In the event it has been worked by an employee but you would still like to remove this shift from the list, you can instead archive the shift.
To do this, you would need to double-click on the shift and whilst within the 'Details' area of the shift, scroll down and tick the 'Archive' button and then 'Save'.
This will mean that the shift will no longer appear in any form of drop-down. However, it will still appear within 'Shifts' under 'Shifts & Rosters' in the settings of your environment. You can change the filter to only show active shifts which will remove any archived shifts from view.
